Genesis One: Care for Creation

This idea of starting a Christian environmental group has been in my head for a long time. I had started doing concept logos for a name that stuck to me: Genesis One. The name obviously inspired by the first chapter of the book of Genesis:
"1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters..."
God created the heavens and the earth so I deeply believe that even if you don't believe that we are the cause for Global Warming of that such doesn't even exist, we still need to "Care for Creation."

What do you guys think? I am right? Wrong? Weird?

The Experience

Have you ever had that feeling like when your dad hasn't been living with you for about a year because he was working at another state, and the only communication was through birthday cards, then out of nowhere your dad comes through the door and you start crying for joy for the first time, but you don't want your dad to see you are crying because you can't explain them so how are you going to explain to your dad that these tears aren't because I'm sad he's here but my happiness reached a point of emotional breakthrough that tears are forced out of my eyes. Have you ever felt that? You know that feeling?

Well that's the feeling I get with church. Kinda.

I was waiting for something to happen at church, I think all us were. And sure enough The Experience came about, it was like a drink of fresh water. A rejuvenating force.

Awesome things are happening at The Experience. But Chris Tomlin puts it best, "Greater things are yet to come." And they are nigh! Stay tuned, and I'll fill you in with all "need to know" info of the Experience. I could say more but I rather you find out on your own, don't take my word for it, join us!

*The Experience is the english speaking congregation at Christian Center of National City. We have our celebrations at 9:30 am on Sundays at Christian Center of National City, located at 125 Palm Ave., National City, CA 91950. Website coming soon!

Disconnected!!

No internet is cruel pain!!!
But I won't use it as an excuse for not writing to you guys (& girls). A lot of things have happened since last post so I'll just list them... yay!! Lists!!
(These not in any particular order, chronological sequence is irrelevant in this list)
1. DAY:ONE!!!! Concert was great, Serafin, SCDC, and REAL did awesome, we had a great turnout, overall great (unless you have a say on it...)

2. We printed Day One shirts!! I personally thought they were AMAZING! jajaja they were awright... nonetheless I was very excited to set up a Hagiazo booth at the concert, manikins and everything. We had on display Hagiazo Ink (red one), Hagiazo Retro (white shirt, bkue, magenta and black inks), Abundance of the Heart (White tee with scribbles), Hagiazo Africa (Brown), and Day One shirts (black and yellow). Very exciting day. (HAPPY NEW YEARS!)

More to come...
Sorry, Esteban is out of class and we have to go home....

Hey, how is everyone?
It's been a while huh?
Time is Now is Over, our Christmas service has passed, Christmas is next week, Day One is almost here...

But on a more important note... I love rain! I was having a blast this week, driving at 30 mph on the freeway, cars passing by me and splashing water all over my windshield, tree branches blocking the interstate, couldn't see 10 feet from the hood of the car, rain sounding like machine guns against steel covered trailer... amazing! We were worried that the Tijuana River was going to overflow and inundate our neighborhood, we would be forced to use our trailer home as boats jajaja

So when are we going ice skating?
